The Castra Risk website is operated by Castra Risk Underwriters LLC, a Delaware limited liability company. These Terms apply to all visitors to the site, including brokers, insureds, reinsurers, regulators, and members of the press.
§ II · Not an insurance contract
Information on this site, including coverage line descriptions, attachment tables, sample exclusions, claim examples, and indemnity schedules, is provided for general informational purposes. It does not constitute an offer of insurance, a binding quotation, or a representation of available limits or terms. The operative terms of any Castra-bound insurance contract are those set out in the bound policy and its endorsements.
§ III · Not legal or actuarial advice
Content published on the site, including the Castra Quarterly and the underwriting methodology pages, reflects Castra's working practitioner views as at the date of publication. It is not legal advice, regulatory advice, or actuarial advice. Where the site quotes statute or regulation it does so in operational shorthand; the operative text of the statute or regulation controls. Always consult qualified counsel and your own actuarial advisors before acting on the information.
§ IV · Eligible visitors
This site is directed to commercial and professional audiences. Where required by law — for example, where the publication of certain insurance content is restricted to persons who are insurance professionals — you confirm by accessing those pages that you fall within the permitted audience. The site is not directed to consumers as defined under U.S. or EU consumer protection law.

The site and its content (text, layout, code, design, the Castra wordmark, the castrum compass, the four coverage line forms cited as samples) are owned by Castra Risk Underwriters LLC or its licensors and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and trade dress laws. No license is granted to you by implication or otherwise except the limited right to access the site for the purposes described above.

The site may include links to third-party sites. Those sites are operated by parties not under our control. We are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or terms. Inclusion of a link does not imply endorsement.
§ VIII · Disclaimer of warranties
The site is provided as is. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Castra disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, completeness, and uninterrupted availability. Castra does not warrant that the site will be available at all times or free of errors. Castra does not warrant that the information published on the site is current or that it will not be revised.
§ IX · Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Castra and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site, including loss of profits, loss of business, or loss of data, even where Castra has been advised of the possibility of such damages. The aggregate liability of Castra under or in connection with these Terms will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars.
Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
§ X · Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Castra against any third-party claims arising from your breach of these Terms, your unlawful use of the site, or your infringement of any third party's intellectual property or other rights through your use of the site.
§ XI · Governing law and forum
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. The state and federal courts of New Castle County, Delaware, will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising under these Terms. Each party waives any objection to such forum on the basis of inconvenience or otherwise.
